What's New On The 2022 GMC Acadia
The 2022 GMC Acadia, like its predecessors, provides a wonderfully stylish alternative to the mini-van. It foregoes the staid exterior design for a rugged style and tons of functionality features such as a programable power liftgate and available power-folding mirrors. Other new exterior features include an available 18-inch and a 20-inch wheel design, plus a new color option – Light Stone Metallic. This year the trim lineup gets some grooming. The SL trim is cut from the lineup making the more desirable and better equipped SE trim the base trim. The 2.5-liter four-cylinder is also gone and the 228-horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder is now standard.
A Look Into The GMC Acadia's Past
The Acadia was introduced to the market in 2007. It held the distinction of being GMC's first vehicle in many years that wasn't built on a truck based platform.
